SC400 speaker upgrade: Dynaudio 242 v. 242 GT
Hey guys,
I've decided to upgrade the stock Pioneer front speakers on my 2000 SC400 with the Dynaudio Esotec 242 component kit. Had some questions for anyone with first-hand knowledge of the installation:
1) Did you go with the standard 242 kit (includes the 162 woofers and 102 tweeters) or the slightly smaller 242 "GT" kit which has a slightly smaller woofer (162 GT)?
2) How difficult was the installation? Did you modify the factory enclosure or create a new enclosure?
3) Were you satisfied with the improvement in sound quality?
