DTC B15C3 after LC8i install. Es350 all audio dead
2015 ES350 owner about to enter rage mode. Getting around to installing my LC8i, amp, and speakers. Got all the wiring done today go to power everything on and boom no audio. Everything visually works in the Nav screen but no volume control. The only speaker left connected to the amp is the center speaker. Everything else was cut at the output and sent to the the lc8i.
Audio will come on for a split second, at ignition, via the center and then boom trouble code B15c3 and no sound again. Viewing TIS and the trouble fix is to check for a short in the speakers. Troubleshooting involves checking the ohm rating of the speakers....well once I spliced in the LC8 of course the ohm readings aren't going to exist oem wise anymore. Does this mean the stock amp will not work if it doesn't see the correct resistance on each output? The LC8i takes the outputs from the amp to the speakers as speaker level inputs. There's no other way to hook it up. I'm at a loss here....Right now the only speakers oem wise hooked up is the center. And naturally the the lc8i will power cycle in the second the audio plays then shuts off because the amp shut off.
To me, at least in burnt out defeated mode, if the oem amp sees anything but its rated resistance it kills itself to protect it. Meaning this won't work with the LC8....
Thoughts.

Just to update this thread. The car ended up needing a reset. From all the plugging and unplugging a quick yank/reattach of the battery cable and then letting it sit overnight solved everything.
The LC8i works perfectly for our needs and at the moment I don't feel my ears will be able to see the benefit of what a processor will cost.
