I've been using my Android phone as a dash cam for the past two months. The app works well, but it's become an inconvenience to set up and remove, start up and shut down the app. Can't leave it on the windshield for a 5 minute pit stop because of FL heat and the battery( it displays a warning). It cost very little to get into this setup and was only meant to be temporary until I was sure I wanted to buy a dedicated dash cam. It's now time. The world of dash cams is full of new innovations. A forum search showed two year old posts with old technology. I'd appreciate any experiences with cams in the past 12 months. I have an LS 460 and would consider a single or dual setup. I'd prefer a discrete setup compared to a larger, more visible suction cup mount. Thanks.

Just did a search for dashcam (as one word) and found a recent thread. It's hard to purposely use misspelled words for an English minor.

blackvue ones arent that bad, pretty good quality.

i believe the blackvue dr650 has front and rear cameras.
