Wanting to add subwoofer IS250
Hey everyone, I am new to the forums and looking for a little advice with adding a 10inch subwoofer to my 09 IS250. I have done some research but I can't seem to put all of the answers together. My first question is it seems like some people are removing the 8 inch subwoofer from the rear deck and hooking the wires up to their new amp using a speaker to RCA converter. Is this the best/cleanest way to do this?
In my previous car i had a 12 inch memphis sub and amp. I want a sub that will kick and that I can turn up if I feel like it. I'm not looking for any competition grade or top of the line equipment. I was thinking of the following combo, what do you guys think?
Pioneer TS-W261D4

Pioneer GM-D8601 Monoblock

I know a lot of people seem to like the Alpine Type R but I also see complaints about it not hitting deep lows very well (not that it would be a great concern of mine with a 10 inch sub).
Any help and advice is appreciated.
