Sc430 Custom Sound
Hello All,
I'm planning to upgrade my 02 sc430 ML Sound kit and would like to know if the following setup below will work.
I want to purchase the Beat-Sonic MVA-12L and replace my existing ML amp to an aftermarket and that will wire to where the OEM sub will be replaced and fitted with a custom subwoofer. There will be a aftermarket double din from Alpine GPS head unit.
> Is the ML amp required in order to use the OEM controls on the steering wheel?
> If the ML AMP is not required, can I replaced all speakers and fit them inside their orignal enclosures and power it from the aftermarket amp hooked to the Beat-Sonic unit?
Thank you,
-S

if u plan on replacing the ML amp it will make more sense to rewire the car... add your amps but come directly from the new headunit... the only thing the headunit will need is power, ground and ignition... any stereo shop can do the work in short order....if u want to retain steering wheel controls then add an ASWC
