Default Is350 sub enclosure

Am currently running a 12w6v2 in a sealed enclosure being pushed by a jl audio jx1000.1 amp.

It sounds good but I know it can sound better, I just need to get the bass inside the cabin.

Currently the sub is facing the rear and I have the ski pass door open but there's not a huge difference when the arm rest is down.

I took it to a few shops and they say that they can build a band pass box but they want to cut holes and remove my factory sub so they want to port the box on top and push the bass through the hold where the factory sub sits.

I would rather build a box that's vented or ported through the ski pass.

What do you guys think?

thru the rear deck is better as it will mask any distortion and sound cleaner.. the woofer needs to load off a second surface before it hits our ears or you'll hear the cone break up at high volumes..

thru the ski hole will sound like crap unless u can properly build a bandpass enclosure for a jl woofer(which isnt recommended) but if u contact jl they can design 1 for u....but make sure u get a subsonic filter on the system so u dont toast ur sub
