Help, Aftermarket unit, sound skip..
Hello,
I have 95 Sc400, had a Eclipse avn 50d stereo in it, that was working fine, ( was done previous owner).
then problems came. you could hear that a song is playing, but the sound is skipping. and this is not just for disc, its the same for FM or Ipod. ?
I've pulled the unit out and check if there was anything like a simple wire had came lose? etc.
but everything seems fine.
And I know its not the unit. because everything function the way it should. and I even bought another unit and swap out and it does the same thing.
You help is appreciated. I'm hoping someone could pin point to a location to check. since I'm lost at this moment.

Well its not remove, so I's guessing its still wire up to be used.
I might have run new wire like searcher79 said.
or friend said to bypass the Amp, but I think if I put in more work to it I would rather just run new wires. !!! rune it like normal.
But do guys know if wire to rear speakers where can I tap it into on the dash harness side? I saw the other post this guy did he ran wire from front all the way to the rear. ? is that necessary? cause i.m ok with using the stock speakers wires?

I got rid of everything factory including amp power ground and speaker wire. Get quality wiring and run all new. Takes time to do it correctly but when there are no problems you'll be happy you went the extra mile.

It sounds like it could be the factory amp in its way out. Or if you are using a signal converter to allow the use of RCA wires, it could be on its way out.
Just run 1 set of wire speaker wire and see of the sound is corrected. Before you tear into everything to find out that is not the culprit.
Good luck!
