I recently purchased a used 2008 ISF with the Mark Levinson system and FINALLY just got around to bringing a small stack of my favorite cd's in the car. Unfortunately, when I tried hitting the cd/dvd/aux button, the screen says DVD Not Detected. I then hit the load button and nothing happens and it won't let me insert a disc. I even tried hitting the eject button to see if anything happens but NOPE.

I tried searching to see if anyone else had this issue but nothing came up. Any help would be appreciated... would rather try figuring this out myself before scheduling an appointment with the dealership.

Same problem when I bought my 2008 ISF a few months ago, luckily it was still under warranty. They had to replace the entire center stack. $3,800.00.

$3800 Better off with a Vaistech at that point .. cheaper and better.

this was the same exact problem I had on my GS350. Cd Slot won't open when i press load or eject. I didn't bother to go to the dealership because my car is out of warraty (2007 model). So instead, i just purchased the Vaistech VML integration. So far, I am very happy with it. I just plug in my USb drive and play the songs and control them through the touch screen. I have a lot of CD's too but in the long run, even if you had the cd player fixed... it might run into problems again since the ML CD player is so sensitive to certain cds.

Rather than post a new thread I wanted to update this one.

I have the same problem with 2007 IS250.

I cannot load or eject any CD from cd changer.
When I press the buttons nothing happens at all.

I park the car in the sun but have done so for over 3 years,
and I know it worked for about 2.5 years,
so I don't know if it can be that as others suggested in another thread.

Does anyone have any method to manually force the cd changer open other than taking the whole thing out?
