Default I am stupid (picture to proove it) Help me.

I searched for a while the other night trying to find a DIY for center channel replacement on the GS. I could not find anything explaining how to remove the center channel speaker cover.

So I decided to give it the ole heave ho.

Broke it.

So now that I have made a fool of myself does somebody want to explain to me how to remove the center speaker so I can replace it with a non blown speaker?

Thanks,
Stupid BiggieTX

Thanks but I already checked there. I was able to find coverage for all the speakers, except the front center channel.

I don't have the center channel speaker in my car but I would expect that you can probably remove it by going from underneath, meaning remove the Center vents with clock.

you are also lazy to search

use advanced search. Pretty much all aspects were covered already(your question in particular - almost 8 years ago).

If you are going to replace that center channel, put the part number here... I might run a custom center channel in stock location and may need something like that to cover it... Kinda scared to cut it up though.....

Helpful and insulting I like it!

Sorry I am "lazy to search", but I think it is strange that in the past 8 years nobody has talked about how to replace, remove or even get access to the center speaker. Based on the responses I am getting here you would think I was asking how to split the atom. I mean cmon surely it is not rocket surgery to replace that speaker.

I did search for about 45 minutes for anything containing "center speaker" or "center channel". Don't try front speakers because it returns the phone book. If you are able to find a DIY that I missed please post it. Otherwise I will have to make my own because it seems to be a needed item.
