I totally figured out the car phone beep
#16
Sadly, the phone and every conceivable piece of hardware was removed from my car previous to me purchasing it. But, the beep eminated at each and every start up. This was the only solution that I discovered short of disconnecting the front right speaker. Perhaps my situation was unique.

Blizzy really nailed this fix. I just did it to my car and it seems to work perfectly. It is Very easy. I taped up my connector. I was not ready to cut it off until I tested it for a while.
I will drive for a few days, checking the electrical system just to be sure.
But all of my speakers work and No More BEEP!

old thread but just went out and pulled the pin out. woohoo I need to find the handset to turn the system off i guess. Question if anyone sees this if the phone is on does it pull voltage or only if you are "using" the phone?
