How is the stereo wiring of an 98 SC300?
Before I remove the factory amp in place for a new one, I need to know how the wires are of the car...
The door and rear speakers run straight to the rear amplifier or does it run straight to the receiver?
What does the amplifier power, is it just the sub?
Cause if everything do run to the amp, I'm wanting to replace the amp and get a crossover for the sub and the factory speakers all replaced by aftermarkets...
--Thanks!!

all of the speaker wires are back at the amplifier, you can run wires from the deck to the amp or to the each individual speaker. if you bypass the amp you will lose the sub, unless you find an amp for it, or replace it with a different one.

forget the factory amp, just bypass it. you'll be happier in the end that you did.
you can choose one of two options:
1. run wires from the deck back to the amplifier, cut the wires at the amp, and wire them to the deck.
or
2. run wires to each individual speaker, which in the SC isn't too bad to do.
