Question

I dont have to much money right now but i want more bass in my SC. At Crutchfield.com they r running a special for 2 JBL 10" subs for $89.00. I'm assuming that they must not be great but since i dont have too much money they might have to do. My question is, do u guys think i should get them, and if so, how do i go about installing them, etc. or do u guys just suggest sticking w/ the stock 10" that i have right now?

If you want to use that particular sub you will have to build a box. That speaker is not designed for infinate baffle mounting.

Thumbs up Decent Sub

JBL's not a bad sub & that sensitivity rating of 92 tells me that it's fairly efficient so it won't take a big amp to power a pair of them. That begs the next question - what kind of power will U be putting on them? Also ( as Macky said ), it's not a free-air application so how much trunk room do ya want to give up? Might help U decide on either a single or dual usage.
