Great Question....
My SC400 (93) has the integrated phone, but no control on the steering wheel. It looks like you just drop your motorola flip (circa 1993) in the cradle in the console box and dial from there. There is a mic on the dash, and a speaker under the drivers side dash... I am thinking it may not be a factory install... what do you guys think?
I wonder if the connections could be used for another phone... probably not huh, in that one of the cables plugs directly into the phone once it is in the cradle.
Ideas, suggestions??

motorola phone
I have a 94 sc400 with the installed phone which is currently working and I'm about to try the same thing I doubt that the steering wheel dial and memory buttons will function but I at least want to use the microphone and I want to use the stereo speakers for the output the phone that I will be using is the motorola world phone (GSM network) p7389 and the motorola handsfree kit s8543 which has the radio mute feature which should tie into the factory head unit I ordered the handsfree on monday so hopefully it should be here by this weekend or early next week so I'll let you know how the install goes my goal is to keep it looking as natural as the factory system
