I've attached the new JL 10IB4 sub to the mounting bracket (after drilling a few new holes in it) from the stock sub but I'm hitting the gas tank when I set the sub in the hole. How thick of a spacer do I need? Should I even be using the original mounting bracket?

Thanks,
Kevin

Question Which Lexus?

Kevin - What model Lexus do ya have? It can't be the GS model because our gas tanks are beneath the rear bench seat.

Default SC300

It's a 1995 SC 300. I'm pretty sure a couple people have installed this sub in a SC 300 and still kept the stock appearance. Thanks.
