I have an SC400 and I would like to replace the rear subwoofer. I am going to go out and buy a dynaudio subwoofer 10''. Do I have do any modifying back there to the hole? Will it just drop in or should I have it professionally done? I know how to do all the wiring but I had modifying stuff. Let me know. My car is under gallery SC..... It is the blue/green SC with chromes.

I am going to go with the Diamond 10". I was told that this would probably work the best. They are much thinner from top to bottom for clearance in tight spots. Did you do a aftermarket radio? I have all my stuff waiting to be installed. If you do have a aftermarket radio, how did your install go. 92 SC400

I am keeping my stock pioneer/lexus head unit. I think the dashes look really cheap and undesirable if they are replaced. I have yet to see a radio application that looks as good as the stock. I am using line out converters and have added 2 amps. I have not done the install yet but it is pretty simple if I dont need to do a lot of custom work.

Dynaudio 10" or Diamond 10"? Which worked better? I removed my stock sub tonight without too much difficultly and now I need the upgrade. It looks from the specs that the Dynaudio 10" mounting holes will not line up. What modification is required?
