GTE on its way

Well i finished up some more soldering and mounted Power Steering Pump. I also removed the coolant nipples from the upper waterneck. I am going to tap them tomorrow with a 1/8NPT tap and put some plugs in them. I also have to sort out some more.
Tomorrow if the plumbing supplier is open I will go get all the fittings for the oil return and feed lines. I also need to plug one rear oil feed hole in block

^I had talked to Dan back when I had planned to use the GTE intake manifold and user my lower runner to create a hybrid type manifold. I have since changed my mind to focus on other things right now.
How big of a WG are you going? I had planned on using a 40mm, but since I have changed I am now sportin a 50

Motor is prepped for install. I disconnected the GE motor last night. I am gonna pull the GE out tonight..... attach the V160 to the GTE and drop her back in then wire it up.
It was a little chilly last night to drain coolant and oils, as It got late. But I hope to have everything swapped into the car by tomorrow before the rain gets here.

Leroy, Im workin hard just for you man. Give my regards to Chuck and the rest of the team (if you are still in touch with them) Lexotic remembers "Team Lexus" and still holds them in high regard.
I just finished pulling the Motor and tranny. Tomorrow I will prep and assemble the GTE. Took me about 90min to completely drain and disconnect and pull and come in clean up and post. Im getting too used to this crap.
Other angle of GE motor.
There is a TT Auto Tranny that wil come with the GE motor.
I really wanted to be at Carlisle, but plan never work out man. Soon though. When we have out annual Lexotic BBQ, I hope you guys roll up.

people laughed, but you know how easy it is to identify bolts and sensors when performing maintenance on the car. No more guessing where things go. It has got to be the best part of that buildup. Nothing like easing yoru vision when workin on your car - that makes for less stress.

Built GE motor drained and removed from hoist. Ready to be picked up.
GTE Motor prepped on its own tire-dolly ready for tranny swap.
6 puck installed backwards by accident at first
RPS Flywheel installed with two new Flywheels bolts.
Threadlock used on flywheel bolts I bought new in Oct. 06.
It aint easy lifting and aligning this thing with rope by yourself LOL
All bolted up for the most part.... just supporting tranny with a jackstand and leaving the jack under for safety.
For all intensive purposes, the drivetrain is ready to go back into the supra once I torque the tranny bolts to spec and reinstall the starter.
