Default Rear Carrier of 2014

I know many things carried over from the ISF into this new IS. Does this rear pumpkin have a LSD and will it bolt into an ISF as many GS and pervious IS model did? I would like to experiment with a 3.133 gear from the IS 350 F sport.

Yes, it is an interchangeable differential housing. But there is no true mechanical LSD inside (vs. the Torsen unit in the 2010+ ISF or RCF). The differential itself is carryover from the 2IS and retains the "pretorque" semi-lsd, but all this consists of is a pair of conical washers to provide a light preload to the output spider gears. It does not really compare to the function of the Torsen unit.

Also changing the final drive ratio can have some strange effects on the transmission shift timing and top speed limiter. I am not sure if the jump from 2.937 to 3.133 would be significant enough to cause this however.
