Hello guys,
I have a galazy s5 and it worked perfectly although I haven't use it in a while, when ur Bluetooth connects at least in mine it asks me questions whether I have lexus to access my text or not, maybe by mistake you pressed no, I highly recommend to #1 try to reset the Bluetooth settings, by this I mean all of you that have android when you go watch a video on Internet and asks ypu if u want to use the youtube app instead and u can choose just one time or always, the same thing with Bluetooth or second unpair the phone with the car and do it over again. I will try mine today and see if it still works.
I hope it helps

Thank you for all of the responses! I have tried re-pairing but it hasnt helped. And I restart my phone at least once a week 9-)
I guess I can try re-pairing again, and see if I can delete everything associated with the link, restart, and try again.
My dealer also mentioned the car being incompatible with kitkat, which is very frustrating. You would think that Lexus would have a fix for this...

All, this is my first post to this forum, and I am in the process of buying my new 2014 IS right now, but given that I work as an LTS I wanted to start posting here to help if I can.
The official answer from Lexus (for now) to the problem KitKat brought in with message access is to delete all of your current messages. I recommend backing them up first if there is important information, but we can confirm that deleting all messages does indeed work. Especially for Samsung devices.
I have an LG G3 that I tested in a 2014 when I first got it, but I haven't tested it since I've filled it up with messages. We'll see what happens when I get my car!
