Anyone have peeling issue or cut on Steering Wheel?
Looking for some advice or help. I just noticed on my wife's 350 3IS that there is a little hangnail or peeling on the bottom left side of the steering wheel. you have to really look for it to see it and you can feel it when you run your hand through it.
im not sure what caused it - maybe my wife's wedding. its very, very minor, maybe the size or a hangnail or splinter.
Its very annoying and i dont want to damage it but picking at it. any advice or tips to fix it without causing any blemish or damage to the leather/nuluxe.
thanks guys!

Someone had the same problem in other thread, and it happened to be at bottom left as well. I believe is the way driver enter the car, and wearing jacket or anything like zipper that would cut the material.

Yep I posted a thread earlier, bottom left 7 o clock position. I suppose my jacket's zipper did it, just didn't know when I had a minor scratch before with the zipper that is why. This time it just tore apart. Went to dealer and you can get it fix.

wow great feedback! thanks for the info. yeah, that makes sense. i'm a big guy - 6'1 tall and at times its hard to get into the car when my wife 5'4 had the seat adjusted before.
so what did the dealer do to fix it? how much did it cost?

You can try a few tricks for the scratches like olive oil and some leather products. If that doesn't work out and you want a brand new stock wheel, PM me, I have the factory wheel in mint condition. And if you want to go custom, then hit up DCT motorsports (http://www.dctms.com/Products.html). They do crazy stuff for affordable prices.
