Inverted manual shift knob (+/-) : Does it annoy you?

Probably to keep it real simple for people who have never driven a transmission that was shiftable, to most people pushing it forward would mean "go faster" so "shift up" and vise versa. In all reality they probably should have just made it a straight auto with a paddle shift option because 99% of people buying these aren't doing anything but driving in D anyways.

doesn't bother me at all, as a private pilot every aircraft made has the throttle (or power setting) so that all the way forward is full power.
so upshifting by pushing forward seems natural to me, i don't even need to think about it.
