Bell Lexus North Scottsdale Damaged My Car

I never let dealers wash my cars.....they'll just f it up anyway...lesson learned.
it sucks but take the new windshield and be happy...make sure to pick it up on a clear sunny day and inspect all the trim around the windshield.

that can successfully be used to remove scratches on glass. But it requires an experienced pro to do it, do NOT attempt it yourself or you could do some serious damage to the glass and you'll need a new windshield for sure.
If it was me I'd force the dealer to put in a new genuine Lexus windscreen, no exceptions. The glass retails for about $1000 but the dealer cost will be much less.

I bought my car from the same dealership but have yet hit that mark for my first service, you all have me worried now! But due to the horrible freeways out here in AZ (US60) my windshield was blasted with a rock the other week and had to be replaced already. Had safelite do it and requested OEM glass which they gladly did and it looks exactly the same without any issues. Your insurance might not want you to get OEM glass but being that the car is so new I dont think they would fight you on that one.

Wow that sucks to hear about man
I go the dealer on McDowell Rd in south Scottsdale and although they haven't done anything that like that i have notice to my 3IS 350, but the wash and whatever else they do is sub pair. About the only thing they get right is removing the brake dust as the windows are always streaky and in the sun the rag marks show up along various other part of the car they either miss or just do partially. I think in the future as others have done, i am going to request that they don't wash it.

As an update, I dropped off the car today. I don't know what they tried, but they have said they will be replacing the windshield. They have ordered it and it won't be in until Wednesday, so I have a loaner car until then.

I and many others that I talked to had bad experiences with Safelite. In my case there was a strong wind noise present at highway speed. The problem is that they could not put the glue on the edges of the windshield properly or glue itself was not that good. Anyway, in OP's case the goal should be that the replacement is no less than OEM Lexus windshield installed at or better than factory specs (preferably avoiding Safelite). Just my two cents.
