Good to hear. My biggest irritant are squeaks and rattles so I hope for the best knowing the reputation of Lexus,
Congratulations on your Lexus purchase. I'm still amazed that I've owned the IS for almost four months with no service visits to the dealer. For the ES, it's almost a year old with ZERO problems.
There are several things that you will find lacking compared to the BMW, but the positives of a Lexus outweigh the negatives.

The pursuit of F
My past 2IS developed squeaks around the center console the day I left the lot but the 3IS has been the tightest built car I've owned and I'm at 6000 km so far. I had a small ticking around the B-pillar and grab handle which I fixed and posted a DIY. Rock solid now.
Of course, as with any car no matter how expensive, leave it outside at sub-zero temps these days (-15 C in GTA) and freezing has created only the occasional minor squeak because of moisture icing up in tiny amounts behind all contact points. I noticed it around the speaker covers on the dash. Still, it is very minor which I can live with, and goes away once the car warms up.
Enjoy your 3IS and welcome to the world of reliability AND fun.
