Just joined, I bought a 2014 IS350 yesterday and had a question about tires. I'm not a fan of the staggered fitment, hated it on my 350z and on my C6. Is there a tire size I can fit on the front and back that won't rub or cause some kinda traction control computer to go ape****? fronts are 225/40/18 and rears are 255/35/18. Maybe 235/40/18?

Most people want staggered, you want the opposite. What is it about them that bothers you so much?

I can understand where he is coming from. Some people prefer a square set-up for larger wheels since you cannot rotate staggered and they are expensive to buy new tires. I love the look and handling of staggered, but hate that you cannot rotate to even tire wear since the rears wear faster than the fronts.

OK. Then, wouldn't it make more sense to wear out these tires and then go with the traditional setup? Instead of just replacing what is on the car already ASAP. (assuming that's what the OP wants to do)
