I will be picking up my IS350 F sport. Always a BMW guy so I hope I am not disappointed. Must get rid of my 335 so decided I go this route. Also have a rx350 and and is300 in the family. If I can figure out how to post a pic I will surely do so.

Good Luck! I am also coming from BMW (2002 330xi) to the IS350 f sport. I found the IS to be a better drive that the current 3 series (f30). You won't be disappointed!

Totally agree, but one doesn't "hope they're not disappointed". Sounds like he is preparing for the worst. Most other users posting about getting their IS sound hyped about the decision.

Yes I test drove the car along with others including BMW. The car seemed great but as others said its about total ownership. I have driven BMW's for the last 14 years and know what to expect.

I loved my 330i, but keeping that car on the road was costing me $1500-$2000 per year once I got north of 80,000 miles. You mentioned that you had to get rid of your 335i, why was that, if you don't mind my asking?

Just getting up in miles 115K and as you stated maintenance kills you. I had to have the transmission replaced at 94K, luckily under CPO warranty or it would have been 7 grand. It was a great car and very fun to drive. It is in excellent shape so I had a hard time deciding what to do.

I test drove the current 3 series (f30) and the IS350 f sport. While neither equaled my e46 in total driving pleasure/experience, the IS came much closer, hence my choice. Was this your experience as well?
Once I made the decision because of driving dynamics, the bonus of more comfortable seating and Lexus reliability was icing on the cake.
