I spoke to a lexus Nav agent yesterday and he said that a new update is in the works that should address the lag issue with the Nav screen. He said the update should be ready within 2 weeks.

I guess I will just wait to see if there is another update released, my car still having problems with the navi everytime I drive. Its quite annoying and embarrassing.

You and me both, I'm just using the USB for music, even that isn't robust.
The folders I organized into, goes in alphabetical order instead of the folders I select.

I forgot to mention Playing Pandora on Bluetooth from the Lexus Enform App, doesn't play sound.
I checked everything, I promise. The songs appear fine, even with coverart. But no sound...Seriously?

I had this problem too - the screen would show Pandora was playing but nothing was happening with the actual sound. I asked the dealership and was told that you may have this problem after a phone operating system update. In my case, I had recently upgraded the iOS on my iPhone 5. I was instructed to disconnect/ un-pair my phone from the car, then re-pair it up. I did that and it works fine now. You might want to give that a shot.

I actually did that, but I have an iPhone 5s.

I did that with my gf's phone and it worked fine.
She's the DJ when she's in the car with, not me lol

Regarding the Pandora issue, mine will either say it is "paused" and won't unpause, or it will be playing and no sound.

The work around for me is to go to iHeart Radio, let it start playing, then switch to Pandora. Works everytime.

Lexus has a big issue with the whole multimedia system. The only fix might be to replace the entire unit with redesigned ones.

Maybe that was their plan all along, replace entire units. the current screen size looks like a cheap placeholder for what should really fit in there (and what e.g. BMWs have...), something like 12" 21:9

I have the same problem and switching to iheart works. Not sure why it's like this, Pandora app has problem getting data from the phone on first connect. Will upgrading to 8500 fix it? If not, I don't even want to bother with update since my dealer is very bad at responding to phone calls or emails.

I'm running the 8500 update, it doesn't fix the issue.

A few weeks ago I went there in person since no one was able to answer my questions over the phone, but they didn't have the USB drive. I assume it's available now but seems like people are still having issues with 8500.
