Well, he's right in saying that he can have his own opinion. He's also right in saying that "you can take it however you choose."

It is rather strange that someone who apparently vehemently hates mods is perusing an enthusiast forum. Oh well, like the old saying goes...don't feed the trolls.

Random question: Does changing the size of the rims, from 18" to 20" for example, require any reprogramming of the onboard computer? I was told once that things like the brakes and other onboard systems are programmed to the size of the wheels, and changing them can affect safety. Was this just BS?

I hate the fact that if I buy an IS, that I'll be driving the same car that you see other drivers in, with ridiculous gigantic rims and god-knows-what-else stuck on the thing anywhere you can find a place to put something. PEOPLE, STOP PUTTING ALL THIS RIDICULOUS JUNKY-LOOKING STUFF ON YOUR CARS! JUST LEAVE THEM THE WAY THEY WERE WHEN YOU BOUGHT THEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This is for KeyserS!!!

There isn't much ride difference in the 19" and 20" wheel. All depends on what you want.

Probably limited to only a few tire sizes I would imagine.
Lets get back on topic

That's BS as long as you get the right tire size.
