Peddle Dance On 14' 350 F-Sport
I did peddle dance on new is350 and got some nice 2 gear rubber. The salesman said "oh you do not need to do that with the dial and trc switch".We compared the two and there was a big difference in off line acceleration .I have not found any info on rear differential ratios although I imagine the transmission ratios to be the same in the is-350 as Lexus did not change them in the LS and IS-f .My '06 is350 feels considerably faster through the first 4 gears or about 110mph.My only mod is a k&n drop in filter.Totally off topic but I also found the new 350 to have less leg room for driver.Any other opinions on this out there?

The pursuit of F
(LOL, I almost had the same reaction)
Has to do with disabling Traction Control and ABS. The question is, if these can be disabled "with the dial and trc switch" as opposed to doing the dance :

i believe only lexus of japan knows the true extent of what and how far or long(duration) it disables built in safety gizmos.I do know it works on all Toyota vehicles I have tried it on.Some safety things like the rev- limiter is not affected at all. From my experience if you can get traction ,it makes a world of difference in acceleration

The pedal dance in the 2IS was only necessary ofr the first model year. From 2008 onwards, holding down the Traction control button would turn of VSC also. It would re-engage above 40km/h I believe.
