I too can't believe they left the extra inch of plastic. I want to get an IS in 2014 and I really, really hope they fix this (especially after getting my wife a 335i with a humongous screen).

Has anyone experimented with pairing multiple phones? On my Subaru, you can pair two phones, but it always tries to reconnect to the most recent one only. If you want to connect to the other one, you have to do it manually from your phone and then the car wants to connect to that one automatically until the next time.

It's kind of a dumb system. I'm hoping the Lexus one (or the BMW one if I go that way) will scan for both and connect to the most recent one or fall back to the other one. That way if my wife and I swap cars, we don't have issues with all the fancy apps not working.

The IS250 F Sport or the GS350 F Sport?

Yes, the IS350 F Sport can handle more power and NEED more power.
I think you need the NEW IS F, the 350 is not enough for you.
At this point, ever single f-sport vehicle is in desperate need of a power bump. It's kind of embarrassing when the only vehicle in the Lexus lineup that can handily beat a Honda Accord V6 is an IS-F which is still on the old 2IS platform.

the new IS has great handling, i am very impressed. and yes i want to try the is350 f sport and see how the extra power can bring out more of the car

and yeah, given cars i have had, probably new isf or gsf would be great but still, i am so impressed on what a "regular" model can do now

on another note, really love the new lighting / interior of the current lexus generation of vehicles, even when it's freaking 5:40am in the morning
