Good Day All,

My car is suffering from an AC defect which makes the passenger side run the heater while the driver side is cooling. I tried disconnecting the battery but that didn’t work, now I’m looking for solutions which could address this issue without the need to replace the whole AC or the servo which is costly.
Anyway I have thought of disconnecting the heating in the car if that possible but I don’t have the wiring diagram for the car, also what do you think is there another solution?

There is a feature in the Techstream software to recalibrate the servo motors. That may be enough to fix the issue.
You would either have to take it to the dealer or get a laptop, Techstream software, and an OBD to USB cable and do it yourself.

I actually have the techstream software and cable, but I feel that the issue is hardware defect more than calibration. Anyway I will try the calibration feature today if possible and I will post if it worked, this will eliminate one possibility if not fixed.

If the recalibration doesn't fix it then you're looking at a servo or blend door issue...either way the dashboard is likely coming out at that point. Definitely the recalibration is the first step for sure.

I had the same issue. Dealer did a "system reset," not sure if that is a re-cal or disconnecting the battery, but that fixed the issue. They originally thought it was a blend door issue as well.

New Update:

The issue seems to be gone, but I’m not sure if it will return quickly or not.
I have changed the AC temperature quickly and frequently from hot to cold then at last I kept it at cold and the Air started to cool down, seems that the blend valve was stuck and it started to move.
