key fob don't work after replacing valve cover gasket
Hello
Well I have this problem in my 2006 is350
This just happen yesterday, so I decided to do my valve cover gaskets on my way while I was doin it didn't disconnect the battery so I had a little accident..I touch ground yo the positive post of my battery, how o did it? Well it happen I was removing the fuel part where there is a sensor and the Intel of the fuel line on top the passanger side VCG and with my extention pooow sparks came up, than I disconnected finish the job I start the car car is to normal no check engine no oil leaks sounds good pull it out to my drive way, try to lock it with my key fob and not working, no unlocking, locking, trunk alarm not working, door handle touch button not working, key fob was working fine before, other thing I notice that my GPS and screen stays on.
I call lexus they say main relay than they say if the car starts is not the main relay, they say it cannot be the programing if it was car wouldn't start if any one have any ideas it would be great

Keep driving it and just wait like 1 or 2 days, The car should relearn all the basic stuff. For some reason if you disconnect the battery for to long the car forgets many regular basic stuff. Just did my friends 07 IS and it forgot the windows one touch and other small little things. It should go back to normal. If it doesn't change with in a week than, maybe a fuse or something along those lines might have messed up.
