UPDATE: I just replaced all 10 of the rear lugnuts and torqued the lugs with a torque wrench to 76. Retorqued after I drove some too. Hopefully the studs don't break again.

How did 76 "feel" on a torque wrench compared to what you were doing before?
I know it is likely to be hard to tell.
It felt a lot less tight compared to what I was doing by "feel". I've been checking them after I get back home at the end of the day. One stud was looser than the others but not by much. They are holding up pretty good now, hope it solves my problem.
Alot less tight is good, because actually 76ft lbs isn't much...especially with a breaker bar. You should be good now; but do report back if anything goes wrong.
UPDATE: Even after torquing the lugs to OEM spec, the studs would still break. Looked at the hubcentric ring and they were kind of chewed up. Guessing that the sizing on the ring was off by a mm or two. Put new rings on and so far so good.
The hub rings were the first thing that came to mind but honestly for $5 a set I didn't think that would have been overlooked. Glad you narrowed it down ... nothing worst than having to keep going back and forth with fixing studs.
Lol I can't believe I over looked that. I remember, back in the days, when I had wire wheels and I needed a center plastic ring that fits over the hub centric. Without that being centered properly your Wheel wouldn't be centered correctly. Glad it was a simple solution even though it took some time to figure it out.
