Is Mark Levinson audio system significantly better than standard premium audio included in a 07 IS350 in terms of sound quality?

I like everything about my IS but sometimes I feel the sound quality is not satisfactory to my ears. I have an opportunity to trade my 07 IS350 for a 08 IS350 with ML audio for little more money so just wondering if it's worth spending extra money for it. I like to hear tight bass and clear and smooth highs.

Spend the money you would have on the ML-equipped car on some aftermarket components for your current ride instead. Then you'll start to have quite the system!

That may be something I need to consider doing, but I have a stock NAV and want to keep the stock stereo so only thing I would be willing to do is to upgrade speakers. Would that be significant upgrade?

I listened to ML audio system in GX470 few years ago and it sounded pretty good. Not sure about how it is in IS.
