Default Slow pulsating humming sound with slight vibration

Hey everyone! Please read the whole post before you respond with "wheel bearing" or "rotate/balance your tires".

I just bought a used 2006 Lexus IS 350 with 90k miles on it. I got it checked out by a mechanic before I purchased and he said everything looks great as far as belts, breaks, leaks, and such. BUT.

Once I hit 60mph I start to hear a pulsing humming sound. I've listed to some wheel bearing examples and I'm not sold that that's my issue. The wheel bearings I've heard are a fast WooWooWooWooWoo sound. I have a slow WUMm humm WUMm humm. The WUMm humm doesn't coincide with one rotation of the tire, instead more like 6-10 if I had to guess. Just tonight I noticed that it also speeds up when turning to the left, and dies away completely when turning just slightly to the right.

The car doesn't pull one way or the other and the steering wheel doesn't shake. I can feel a tiny bit of the vibration in the wheel though. Braking seems smooth.

Thoughts anyone?

What kind of tires are you having on it? how is the tread on those tires?

They are Hankook Ventus K12 EVO tires. Mechanic said the tread is fine.

Slightly bent wheel perhaps; happened to me and would cause a light vibration into the steering wheel and brake pedal at HWY speeds.

wheel would be the next thing on the list after the tire. Hibdon Tire Plus would check them for free if there is one around ur area

Check for any curb rash on the outer and inner wheel lips.
