New Member to the IS family. quick questions
Ok so my name is Ricky and im glad to be part of the Lexus fam now. Ive been lurking for the past week now and getting info on the car and there is a lot to handle lol.
So far there are a few mods that I will begin asap but I have a few questions about.
Navi Adress bypass, LED interior w/ Puddle light also, LED reverse, Scuff Illuminated plates, 2011 Tail Light.
If anyone has input on the top mds or certain thread yall can link me to, I would gladly appreciate it.
My IS250 is a 2006 and I want to put better headlight bulbs. Ive always used HID before but now there seems to be CREE LED that produce 3000-6000 lumens. Has anyone had any experience with LED vs HID. What im looking for is a that bright white output like the new cars have rather than the slight blue tint older factory HID had.
Also which ballast do yall use for them, i remember philips made some with instant warm up, rather than the generic ones which take time to warm up

I would do something with the suspension and one of the suspension must haves is the rear sway bar. It will make the car feel more like a small boat than a big boat. You should pair those with coilover or springs.

For headlight, I highly recommend you going HID route for its brightness and better visibility. If you don't want the blue hint, you should do the 5k or 6k HID bulbs. It will be very bright white. I also recommend you buy the bulb from our vendor here Xenon Depot because they sell quality parts and I have great experience with them. Get the Philips one if you are willing to pay the premium.
Some very good mods for a starter would be:
1. F Sport rear sway bar. This is the best bang for the buck handling improvement. Body roll is significantly reduced.
2. BCR coilovers if you want to lower your car + handling improvement. It provides full height, and dampening adjustment so you can adjust it all to your own taste. I myself lower it around 1.5 inch all around with kind of soft dampening for a daily driver.
There are whole tons of mods out there depending on what you are looking for but the two above I mentioned will dramatically improve the handling of the car.
