Default which path should i choose?

(2009 is250 awd)
Being a university student, I'm on a bit of a budget so I'm trying to decide between form and/ or function

*path 1: lowering springs, ppe headers, hi flow cats

path 2: bc coilovers, spc camber kit front and figs mega arms rear

*If you say path 1, what springs give me an even drop, and a stiffer ride than stock on an awd is250? also, what options are available for struts seeing as the stock shock apparently wears out faster with aftermarket springs?

Thanks guys

University students. Man I see them going slammed on the daily lol.

*Path 1
- Roadmagnet Springs is 2inch all around.
- Aftermarket shocks can get F-Sport(Bilstein) /Koni /Tokico

But since your gonna be paying for both its = to a new Coilovers. I say try to find a used BC coil in the classified section?

Path 3 - save the monies for your education! There's plenty of time left AFTER college to spend time/money on cars.

Valid point! I feel like this is the morally correct choice.. but....

How would the stiffness of road magnets and fsport shocks compare to a stock setup? I heard somewhere that the springs give an uneven drop because of the extra weight in the front of the awd 2is...

I'm basically ready for coils, but headers would also be sweet lol.

If I were you, I would save the money for a sports car. You can spend 12k on trying to make the car handle better like a sports car, but it would still fall very short.

I would go path 2a if you really want to spend a bit of money. Just get a set of BC coilovers with a mild drop. You don't want to slam an awd unless you want to pay a lot to keep it that way. With a mild drop there is no need for any add ons for camber. You will be fine. If you spend a lot of money for headers and cats you will maybe gain 10hp and have a slightly less slow 250 but it still won't be quick!

I will likely go path 2's route. However, I will likely lower 2" at minimum..., and camber will be thrown off stock by a few degrees, corrected via a camber kit. It may be minor, but I'd rather spend the money now to save my tires and give me the flexibility to safely lower further.
As it is, I'm thinking about skipping out on rear toe links and bushings up front, as I was advised that toe shouldnt be too compromised with a 2.5" drop, even after alignment with new camber parts.

I'll be selling my Roadmagnet Springs in a week or so if you choose that way and want to save a little money. They only have 3k on them.

This. Student loans seem like free money when you're IN college. Here I am, 10 years out and I'm finally almost done with mine... And my wife has more than half in student loans as our mortgage...

Option 2 cause the 250 is too slow to do all that on. Just make it look good.
