Turning off invasive "Check System" when running winter tires without TPMS
I have winter tires now. No TPMS.
I understand cars will flash and warn me about TPMS sensor.
But it is pretty invasive on the Lexus. Has constant "Check System" and red triangle warning.
Anyway I can turn these warnings off. I like the outside temp to be the default screen on the instrument cluster. Now all I get is a constant warning.
I know I can press DISP button on steering wheel but it is only temporary.
Thanks

Strange, I don't have TPMS sensors on my winters, but I only get the lower right yellow warning light. I am able to set my display to show whatever info mode I want it to. I have a 2011 IS250 AWD.

I posted a similar version of this question in another forum, so apologies for the (mild) x-post.
So how many TPMS sensors can a Lexus remember? I read in my manual about the dealer needing to use a scantool to mate the sensors to the car, do you need to do this every time you switch winters to summers, or can the car "remember" 8 different wheels?

I have aftermarket wheels and kept the sensors in my OEM set of wheels. But i have 4 sensors in my spare and that took care of the warning lights.
I need to figure out how to have both sets programmed though because we had to set it to main, it wouldnt accept the spare sensors as 2nd.
