so I thought our side mirror turned down when in reverse. I bought the car CPO'd this summer and sure enough the mirrors don't tilt down.

I've toggled the switch from left to right, nada.

Got a 2011 IS250 AWD with 55k on it now. Does my model have this feature?

Not all of the IS had them only certain packages. Yours obviously does not.
You can look at the original window sticker of your car you shouldve recieved when you bought it CPO to see what it has.

Only with the Luxury Pkg or Sport Pkg. If you don't have memory seats, you don't have tilt down mirrors.

Auto mirrors woulda been handy for me a week ago. Backed out of my garage pretty quick the other day and watched my side mirror explode in slow motion as I hit the siding in my garage . These aren't cheap to fix either

Tilting mirrors are a god-send for me having to park in my tight garage in reverse. Otherwise I'd be plowing into my workbench.
