I used to HATE the 3is grill but its grown on me. The only thing I think about it though is that youd be ***ked if an object hit the grill.
These are my personal favorites of the 2is.

yeah, if they made that bumper conversion without needing to do the Custom work itd be a HIT... so yeah.. I too prefer the 2IS for a 3rd gen but if it were up to me i'd have one of each gen jajaja

That's cuz drl incorporated in with headlights. Looks better that way. 3is light cluster still hasn't grown on me.

The F-Sport 3IS looks great, but the stock one looks questionable to me because of the grill style. Overall, the car is still very sick but the 2IS is just as nice!

After seeing more modded Gen2/Gen3 IS on the road. I still feel a modified Gen2 is better looking (exterior wise) than a modified Gen3 IS, night and day!

Can't say I completely agree with this thread there are a lot of sick 3rd gen IS's now. I can't help but feel dated when I see the 3IS tails or the interior. It should be getting a refresh soon and imma feel even more outdated then �� regardless I still love the 2nd gens

Naw you right brah but from what I've seen isn't too impressive but just my observation so far. I'm sure theres a lot more out there not on here like youve said. I have however been impressed with the mods done at the 2gens. Sema is a separate type of show. I know this cause my coworker has a decked out mustang and lifted 4x4 both showing at sema, Vegas. Them rydes are no joke but what do you expect when you really pay nothin cause its sponsored.
