Rear Driver Brake Noise (IS350)
I have a 2006 IS350 and the right rear brake has been making a metal on metal sound when rolling. I can prominently hear it up 30 mph. I know all the pads are good and also it does it when the brakes are not applied. I am guessing that something is dragging? Is this a known issue or something unique that you guys would not be able to help out with over the internet?
Didn't really want to make a thread on this but figured It would be good to ask. Thanks in advance for any insight. I do see on my LexusUSA service history in 2013 this car had a "R. DSC BRK CALIPER ASSY" I wish I knew which side was done.

The IS350 rear calipers are known for seizing up over time; so you might have a pad dragging on the rotor. Remove the wheel, remove the caliper from the hub, squeeze the "two halves" together; it them don't move at all, they're probably seized.
Sounds like the right caliper (rear or front though?) might have been replaced or serviced.

dust shield is def not touching, I have had that happen before. I noticed today that it especially makes the noise when I turn left (obviously taking the weight off of that right rear wheel), dont get me wrong it does it most of the time anyway.
