Lost OEM Wheel Lock Key - Suggestions?
Last time I had to take the tires off was almost a year ago when I took it to a local shop for an alignment and did not check to see if my wheel lock key was left in my car when I drove off.
Now it's about that time for a brake service and I have no idea what to do. Any suggestions?

you can go to a major toyota dealership and they could find you a set that works if they have it in stock. i did that. cost about 50 bucks.
or like pmanliu said, you can have it taken off pretty damn easy with a lug nut removal tool at any shop. discount tire will do it for free for you.

I just bought my second Lexus 2 weeks ago. This time an IS250. Dealer did not have keys for wheel locks. I used a 3/4 inch socket tap in with hammer and remove with electric impact wrench. Put socket in vise grip to punch out key from socket. Do not push in impact wrench more than you have to, it makes it real hard to remove key from socket. 15 min job.

Gville350, You're awesome! I never knew that packet was in the owners case. Saved me so much wasted time.
Thank you everyone who replied - really appreciate it!

Bring it to your Lexus dealer for the next service, with a set of standard lug nuts, and ask them to swap them out for you--they have all the keys.
Toyota may be the same, but I discovered when I did that with my Acura that Honda dealers didn't use the same set of keys, and I had to go to the Acura dealer.
