Default Black and White Bars showing on Navigation

I just replaced my digitizer on my 2006 Lexus IS and now when I put the car back together the navigation will only show a black screen, then after a bit it will go to a screen with white bars on it. The navigation did work before i started messing with it.

Now I did use the search feature however, no one posted a result on what fixed it.

I have tried the following:

Disconnected the battery, checked all the cables and connections plugging into the back of the unit, ejected the disc and reinserted it (yes it is an official Lexus DVD), and checked the fuses.

I am at a loss and am looking for help before I lose all my hair.

Could I be looking at a bad disc drive?

i would take everything apart and make sure you did not forget to reconnect an electrical connection.

I think I've seen that screen when my NAV unit screen was on its way out. Here's a thread AND video I created with NAV screen-related issues. It won't display the white/black striped lines, but does once show the all-white screen. I replaced the entire NAV screen unit (also tried replacing just the LCD screen...didn't help) to fix my issue :

Thank you guys for you help. I am probably looking at a bad disc drive.

I triple checked that all the connections were inserted properly and didn't miss anything.

Just another reason why I'm looking to get rid of this thing now.
