Default Engine cover pins

Hey, a friend pulled out a bolt and now we cant put it back in. I assume its one time use only? Its the one with 3 lines not the flat one. Also is it important?

No, not one-time use, unless your friend broke the clip by removing it incorrectly.

you have to reset them. It's a simple thing to figure out if you play with it for 10 seconds...

Assuming the clip isn't broken, just unhinge the bottom like the diagram shows. As for your last question, one or two missing clips aren't going to be a problem. I'm sure we're all missing some from our engine bay.
