Mind you all that I'm a novice when it comes to cars but after 6 years of driving this I can definitely 'feel' a difference and the Dyno put to rest that it just may be a placebo effect. It works. As vividracing mentions I've only got a week on it. Let's just say it doesn't help fuel milage as I've been punching around town constantly. It's more than throttle control, which I looked at years ago, it's as they say 'mapping' a better route than the original timing/restrictions placed on the 2GR-FSE engine. I don't hear that giving up, when it seems it could do more, at the high RPM's as I did. It's just more fun. I plan on having it at Hot Import Nights Nov. 22nd at Phx Conv. Center. I'm lucky to have vivid in my backyard.
Nice to meet the test IS350 im glad to hear that it actually worked, what else have you done to your car?
$700 is totally worth it from a performance stand point consideirng how much you get out of a $400 fsport intake and $1500 fsport exhaust
I definitely agree with this being a good horsepower-per-dollar mod for the IS350 based on what had previously been available for the 2GR-FSE. Hopefully a flash tune is no longer a pipe dream for us!
lol, wut? 700 is expensive? people with this platform buy an air intake for 200-300 for 2whp and you would swear up and down you feel power throughout the rev range. **sighs**
but 700 is ridiculous? thats why companies stay away from platforms like this. cheap owners.
