Default IS350 Tuning available!

IS350 tuning finally available from Vivid Racing! Looks awesome to me! Definitely changes the game for us.

http://www.vividracing.com/blog/vivi...ed-auto-flash/

One of the newest products for the VR Tuned ECU Tuning line is the Auto Flash. The Auto Flash is a OBDII plug in module that uses factory mapping to enhance your vehicles performance. The Auto Flash tool changes the tuning on your vehicle using factory files which make it undetectable by dealers. Enhancing your throttle response, shifting speed, and gaining you horsepower and torque. Imagine your ECU is like a CD. You are running on track 1 to make your current horsepower. The Auto Flash tool takes you to track 3 which is already on your ECU wakening it up and bringing out the performance you really crave. The Lexus IS250 and IS350 is just one of many applications that VR Tuned has with the Auto Flash.

To prove how these work, we took a 2008 IS350 with its only modifications being a catback exhaust and ran a baseline dyno. Per the instructions, we drove the car for about 80 miles or in this case a full 7 days, and then brought it back in for the after dyno test. With nothing else changed to the car, the dyno, the fuel type, we ran the car again as video tested. The car gain a peak of 40 ft/lbs of torque around 4800 rpm and made a consistant horsepower gain of about 20-25 horsepower from 4100rpm to 6000rpm. Overall this was an excellent test of the Auto Flash tool.

Before we did the final test, we asked the customer what he thought having driven the car for a week. In his words, “…80+ miles now. This was all auto mode, no tiptronic used. Throttle seems much more sensitive. From 0-80mph it flew. I don’t remember the traction control kicking in at the first moment of acceleration or for that long. I could feel the torque wanted to take me a bit offline. Really, it seems with T/C (traction control) on it’s just as aggressive… To sum up, I like what it’s ‘doing’!“

Anyone has tried this yet? This is so tempting. No Cel, undetectable by dealer and ability to re-flash back to stock are the pluses

So after watchinh their actual dyno run on IS350 looks like a 25hp gain and 40ftlbs of torque with just a catback, so wonder what numbers it will do on the IS250 with headers full dual exhaust and intake.... Hhhhmmmm will wait a couple paychecks and prob buy this

Go dannyboy, go get it and let us know how good it is. This looks very promising. 25 HP and 40ftlbs increase!!! That would be a pretty good boost to the already slow IS250 lol.
