So I bought this iOttie One Tap car mount on amazon which has a couple thousand reviews and was supposed to stick anywhere. So I thought sticking it to the windshield looked weird from the outside so I didn't bother trying. Anyways it's been on there for 2-3 days and I took it off this morning and find that there's a huge circle indent left. When the sun is shining in the morning, it's so noticeable and bugs the heck out of me. Anyone else know how to fix this.. Picture of imprint is kind of hard to see because of the lighting
You're lucky. Anything touches my dash it disintegrates. Drag your nail across it and your nail turns black and sticky and you leave a gouge. I wish all mine had in it was a dent.

I got lucky when I got this car 5 months ago bc the dash was always covered by a mat. Now I use a sun shade. But anyone else got any ideas on how to fix this

I hear you. Got mine back in March. First thing I bought was a sunshade, but I think it's too late anyways.
I wonder if you massage it while heating it with a hair dryer some if it would pop back into shape?
I'm not sure if this will work, but maybe you can try put drops of water on top? I use this trick when I dented my guitars a couple of times. The wood absorbs the water and kinda puff back up, not sure if the dash will do the same ...

Okay I'll keep that in mind. I don't think this material absorbs water though
Try to lightly apply heat from a hair dryer and let it naturally take its shape back. That seems to be the common DIY fix. As for any DIY, just be mindful of what's happening and use common sense first and foremost. Good luck!
