What to do flooded my is350
So it rained very hard over and I couldn't see and I got suck in the water. The car turned off and now won't start it only makes clicking sound. So what should I do wait to see if it will start up or call the insurance company.

Yeah... you're going to have to do a better job explaining what happened. So it was raining hard, then what?
If your car is just clicking, I would assume your battery is almost dead. Unless you can explain more about this heavy rain. Did your car get submerged? Did the water come in contact with vital electronic components?

Yea my bad yes my car did get submerged and it does sound like the battery is dead, but the battery isn't wet but most of the engine bay is. I also took out my air filter and it was soaked. Water probably did come in contact with vital electronics. Also my front bumper fell off.

Ouch... that sucks. If the water was high enough to flood your engine bay, you don't want that car anymore. Even if you can get it running, you will run into so many electrical issues down the road.
I don't think the fact that your car is lowered should have any effect on flood insurance. I would put up a hell of a fight if they tried to pull that card. My recommendation is to take everything off of the car that is worth money or that you want, then make the claim and try to get enough to replace the car. Then either put the parts on the new car or sell the parts.

08is350x, what part of IL are you at? I know it rained buckets (I got stuck in the rain as well), but I didn't think it rained enough for floods. Did water get into your engine because your front grille fell off?

I'm in niles, I didn't think it rain enough either but the tow truck driver said that the place I got stuck in always floods because the water backs up to that drainage because its the low spot of the city. The reason it flooded was because the water was almost the same height as the hood.

If the engine was running and the water was that high it probably pulled in water through the exhaust and from your description, possibly through the intake. Call insurance company. They probably won't know a lowered vehicle from a regular. Good luck

I have USAA and back in the day, when I used to modify my cars, I would declare my modifications to them when they were installed. They were pretty good about honoring the insurance if all modifications were declared to them beforehand. I guess it depends on who is your insurer and if you declared your modifications to them.
