best leave your car in the garage with the windows down and a fan running nearby lest you end up with this:

They should have put the updated grommet in for that price. It's not as easy as other cars to get to as it sits above the trans. You really need to have the carpet pulled out and dried. Also if mold has formed under the carpet the sound deading should be removed and dynomated. My guess is mold has formed as you can already smell it. You don't want to be breathing it in. Your health is worth the cost.
