Take it to autozone or any car parts store, they will plug a tool into the dash. Its under the steering wheel, above the pedals, but in the dash, and has a small cover over it.
It will spit out a code. Write down everything it says, post it in here, and someone will probably be able to give you an idea of what could be going on.

It could be any problem but I had this as well. My codes were P0171, P0172, P0175.
I cleaned the MAF sensor. It wasn't dirty (or at least it seemed). I disconnected the battery to reset the VSC lights and have yet to get a VSC warning again.

I had my '06 IS350 throwing CELs at random times for no apparent reason. After some research on here, members were saying over time the OEM gas cap doesn't seem to seal well any longer. I replaced my OEM cap with a $5 Stant cap from Walmart. To this day, those phantom CELs have NOT returned.
