Plasti dip versus vinyl tape on window chrome trim?
After reading the pros and cons on CL the consensus seems to vinyl, everybody thinks plasti dip looks cheap but I wanted to go the plasti dip route, helpful hints from people that done it without it looking cheap? I tried using Blackout tape but was never satisfied on the application ( bubbles, curvature , overlap) thanks for taking the time to help

Ive been dipping full cars and little stuff here and there like wheels, moldings, emblems etc. and prepping good is a must.
TIP:You just have to make sure you start off with at least 2 light coats at the beginning and then work your way into putting heavier-slower coats. Dont have the can too far away because then youll get rough texture and it will look "cheap" because its not smooth.
