Bluetooth help on '10 IS250
Hey guys, I need some help with pairing my iPhone 4S to my 2010 Lexus IS250. Basically I was able to pair it as both a phone, and an audio player. I am also able to play music, and call.
However, my issue is, when I play music, there is nothing displaying on the car radio unit. Almost seems like the system is off, but music is coming out, and the volume works. Shouldn't it display the song titles, or even just say what level the volume is when I turn it up or down? It doesn't have factory installed navi btw.

I tried that as well, but still the screen is blank. Weird thing is, even when I hook up my iPod via USB, it plays fine as well, but nothing is displayed on the car unit. Only time there is something displayed is when I use the radio, or the Aux (3.5mm) audio cable. When its either usb or bluetooth, it's blank with no light, exactly how the unit looks when its turned off.

I have an '11 IS, which I assume is the same. Maybe not. While Bluetooth connectivity with my iPhone 4 can be an issue at times, it does show the music detail when it's working properly. In fact, it even displays it when I can't get it to actually play music!
I would suggest that you take it to a "Technology Expert" at your dealer. This issue seems pretty straight forward, and they might be able to tell you if it's working as expected.

I have a 2010 and it displays the track number, time. I've never pressed the TEXT button to see if it displays the track though. It also shows the volume if I'm changing it using the car buttons.
When I make calls it displays: NO NAME
I'm using a Samsung S4.

Yeah, I have tried pressing all buttons while the music is playing via Bluetooth or iPod USB. The function buttons actually work, pressing "3" pauses, pressing Mute, increasing the volume works also. But nothing displaying in terms of text, etc.
